FS Design Studio was built on the belief that good design is about more than creating beautiful spaces. It's about understanding how people live, responding thoughtfully to each site and creating homes that feel connected to their surroundings.
I'm an Architectural Designer passionate about creating homes that feel completely right for the people who live in them. I take a personal, hands-on approach to every project, working closely with my clients to explore ideas, make decisions and shape a home around the way they want to live.
From the first sketch through to approvals, detailed documentation and builder selection, I'll guide you through the process and remain your main point of contact.
My approach combines creative thinking, practical experience and a strong understanding of the building process, balancing good design, functionality and budget.
Above all, I want my clients to enjoy the experience and reach construction feeling confident, informed and excited about the home they're about to build.

The face behind FS Design Studio.
I graduated with my Master of Architecture in 2015 and spent the following seven years working with some wonderful architectural practices in Newcastle, gaining experience across a wide range of projects and developing my passion for thoughtful, considered design.
In 2022, my husband and I made the move to Sawtell, where he grew up, and what happened next was something I hadn't really planned.
FS Design Studio started almost by accident.
Through relationships with local builders who trusted my experience and approach, one project led to another, and before I knew it, I had my own little design studio.
It grew organically, through word of mouth, trust and genuine relationships. And somewhere along the way, I realised I had created something I absolutely loved.
With over 10 years of experience in architecture and design, I feel incredibly fortunate to do something I'm genuinely passionate about every day.
What I love most is the entire process. Getting to know my clients, understanding how they live, exploring ideas, solving challenges and watching a design come to life.
I'm a big believer in sitting down with people. I don't like simply emailing plans through and waiting for feedback. I love presenting my designs in person, talking through the ideas and working together to create something that feels right.
I take a very personal approach to every project because, for me, the relationships are just as important as the architecture.
FS Design Studio wasn't something I set out to create, but it has become my dream job. And I genuinely couldn't imagine doing anything else.
